Here's my little wish to Lynn Chapman in Dallas - may she have the time of her life and have lots of great stories to tell when she's there to us back here! I'm so very excited for her, I know that she'll no doubt charm them with her saavy and wit...you go girl!!! Have fun!!

To Tony, Brooke and Lynne should you happen to read this perhaps being referred here by Lynn herself:

Tony: I'll always remember meeting the cast of MONK in Los Angeles at the William S. Paley TV Fest as one of the best experiences I've had, I had a great time. Thanks so much for making it special to me and my mom as well as several of my friends from the 'monkfans' group that attended. Lynn, Allison, Mina, Elaine, TJ and group. What made it particularly special to me was meeting you as you are such an intelligent, warm and fascinating man, I'm so glad I did. It's something I've wanted to do for awhile now. I'm so sorry we couldn't have talked longer, in the rush of the event - I missed that. Perhaps someday we will. Thanks as well for the warm and wonderful hug!

Brooke: I so regret not having had the chance to meet you at Paley as well. I've been following your career for some time - I really hope that you consider reinvesting yourself in acting again some day. I loved the moments that you appear in front of the camera - you're a sweet and beautiful lady and an asset to the screen. I'd really like to some day have the chance to get to know you just a little bit and say thank you for everything.

Lynne: I'm very thankful you enjoy the website I did - I did it, honestly, for you and for the promotion of the movie, I hope in that way I helped. I'd love to someday bring it here, to Vancouver...but, I'll not go too much into that here. It's just a dream. I do hope though that you have a chance to produce or write more. In fact, as an aspiring writer myself - I hope to read more of your work someday and possibly see Made-Up as well. I know Lynn looks forward to seeing you, I hope to someday as well. You're such a terrific lady, hope we can talk again soon!

All in all...hope Dallas turns out to be a great experience and I'm no doubt with Lynn and Tom there, it will be!!

Just had to report on the great events of the William S. Paley Television Festival - first off, it was tremendous meeting the warm and funny cast of the show. What you see of them on screen, folks, is much of the people they are in real life - they are that genuine. I'm eternally grateful they took the time to stay with us, get to know us a bit and to make us feel special. They didn't have to, but they did. They went out of their way. Thanks!

Second, I got my hug from Tony! Which really meant a lot. I only wish I had a photo of it. But, I know it happened - that's the main thing:) Thanks Tony! And, thanks to Jason for posing for a photo with me, it was nice to have someone familiar with Vancouver, so I didn't feel so far away from it at that moment.

All in all, getting to watch the show on the big screen, getting to interact with the cast during Q&A and just having the pleasure of meeting them - I have to say - Virtual Monk should be a regular thing!

Thanks again, folks at MTR, for making our experience so memorable and LONG LIVE MONK!

First off - CONGRATULATIONS TONY on your Golden Globe win for BEST ACTOR in a Comedy Series/Musical Series - very VERY well deserved. Secondly - I look forward to meeting Tony and the cast at the 2003 William S. Paley Television Festival coming up soon. I can't wait, tickets will be going on sale and I'll be the first to phone in for them:)

OK, now on to the stuff on my Totally Tony Page - first, I'm doing a complete overhaul to my photos section and adding screengrabs galore that I can make from various sources. Next, I've tried to update new information as I get it for the front page as well as the links within. So if you know anything I could add folks - by all means, let me know.

Again, I'm on pins and needles to meet Tony - can't wait - hope I get to shake his hand and maybe get a little kiss or hug, who knows? :-) Take care folks!

I just watched "The Siege" on tv again tonight, and I'm, once more, in awe of Tony's range as an actor. In spite of Tony's own comments about how he felt the focus of the film shifted too much into action, I immediately caught the point about the army's overreaction to terrorists. Once more, I was brought to tears by Tony's emotional presence on screen. Easily fits into the catagory of one of my favorite films!

Hey there, Bonnie, welcome aboard...I miss chatting with you girl, we have to do it again soon. My computer was down, but I'm back up and running again.

Also, I'm going to try to contact Tony Shalhoub's agent, by recommendation of a friend and see if I can't make this an official site for Tony Shalhoub, perhaps the agent will supply me with inside tips that I can pass along in my news section -- wish me luck:)

My friend, Susie, actually got me started on Tony Shalhoub almost a year ago. We watched every movie he's been in that we could find...everything from his smaller parts (like Gattaca) to the bigger parts (like Monk and Stark Raving Mad). I just can't get enough of his diverse talent! He takes any part that he's in and gives depth and imagination to it. A lot of times an actor will be known for specific types of roles, like Tom Cruise normally does action movies, but not Tony! He brings a new meaning to each role he does and, no matter how small, you can't help but fall in love with his character. Well, at least i can't!

This is Tanya, here's my three cents.
First off, I'm a brand spankin new fan of Tony Shalhoub. I first became aware of him when I saw the pilot for Monk. Since then, I've watched everything I own that he's in, (although I have dozens of X-Files episodes on tape, I couldn't find Soft Light.. Curses!!). Needless to say, I became a faithful fan of the show. By Dale the Whale, I had written my first fanfic. I soon became obsessive. But how could I not? Tony is just so, fuzzy, with his warm hugginess and those Bambi-deep amber eyes..... sigh..... But I degress. To end with, I Love being a Shalhoubian!

Hi, I guess I'm the first to post since no one save Rena yet knows of it's existence. I've liked Tony Shalhoub since seeing him on Wings a few years ago. I liked his sweet and honest style which has been carried over to film in practically every role he's taken on. His earnest, classy approach keeps me coming back. I liked the edge he portrayed as Ian Stark in Stark Raving Mad and the humbleness of the character Adrian Monk in Monk, the new series I follow every week on ABC/The NewVI. I'm only hoping now that Tony's star rises and that he gets the recognition he so richly deserves. As one critic cited 'It couldn't happen to a nicer guy!' Amen to that!

Also, Tony if you're ever in Vancouver, I may very well be buzzing around the set to say HI - so please, don't call security.
